This Privacy Policy describes how Tap Assistant ("we", "us", "the App") handles user information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect NO personal data. The App does not require user accounts, does not transmit data to any server, and does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs.

All scripts and settings you create are stored locally on your device only, in the app's private SharedPreferences storage.

2. Permissions Used

The App requires the following permissions:

a) Accessibility Service

Purpose: Used solely to dispatch tap gestures on the screen to assist users with motor disabilities or repetitive task automation. The Accessibility Service does NOT read screen content, monitor passwords, capture keystrokes, or transmit any data.

b) System Alert Window (Display over other apps)

Purpose: Required to display the floating control panel above other applications so users can control automation without leaving their current app.

c) Internet (for Ads only)

Purpose: Used only to display banner advertisements through Google AdMob. No user data is sent over the internet by this app.

d) Foreground Service

3. Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per their own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

4. Data Storage

• All click scripts are stored locally in SharedPreferences
• No cloud sync, no backup to remote servers
• Uninstalling the app removes all data

5. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob — for serving ads (see their privacy policy)
• No other third-party services are used

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Security Note

This App CANNOT interact with:

• Banking apps (protected by Android's FLAG_SECURE)
• Payment screens
• OTP/2FA screens
• DRM-protected content

This is by design of the Android operating system, and we do not attempt to circumvent these protections.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.

This App is intended for personal accessibility assistance, UI testing, and productivity automation. Users are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any apps they automate. The developers do not endorse use for cheating, fraud, or violation of third-party terms.
